Mrs. Carroll- Students will finish their Architectural and Engineering Design unit project on Tuesday and present with their groups on Wednesday and Thursday.
Ms. Parker and Mrs. Beam - This week students will begin our Graphic Design/Marketing unit. Each student will need to bring in an empty cereal box by Wednesday of this week for this project.

Accelerated Math ~ Mrs. Fisher
Last week students created Carnival Games and determined their theoretical probability of winning. This week students will present their games and collect data to calculate the experimental probability of winning their games. Students will then write up their findings and explain how similar or different their theoretical and experimental probabilities were, and reflect on the process of data collection and analysis. This project will yield three grades: one summative grade for the write up, and two formative grades for the game and their participation (participation will be based on teacher observation throughout the project as well as team member scoring).

Art ~ Mrs. Beam
This week we will be working on our process pieces as well as our final pieces in our “Proportion and Figure Drawing” Unit. Students will be reviewing and applying their knowledge of proportion, composition, and negative space in their final artworks.
Beginning Band ~ Mr. Sypert
Students are preparing for Spring contests, and for end of the year auditions. Students should be practicing their scales at home everyday as well as their concert music.
