Dear Yoga Camp Parents,
I am excited to see you all here at the SAS Yoga Camp, Tuesday, May 30 – Friday, June 2 from 9am - noon!
Information You Need to Know
Drop-Off and Pick-up:
Will be at the carpool lane on Bailey Lane. I will be out at carpool 15 minutes before camp begins. If you arrive late to camp please walk your child to the 6th grade wing.
Early Arrival and Aftercare are available at the 31st Street campus from 7:45-9:00 and 4:00-5:30. Drop off and pick up for both is located at the Bailey Lane Carpool area. Please plan to walk your child to the check-in table in the morning and to sign your child out in the afternoon. Your child will be escorted to their various camp sessions by Summer staff.
Lunch supervision is available as an additional service from 12:00-1:00 and also includes playtime. Students should bring a nut-free lunch and water bottle. They will be escorted to and from camp by a Summer staff.
Early Arrival, Aftercare, and Lunch Supervision cost $35 per service for the entire week. All services are free if a student attends a full-day camp or two camp sessions within the same week. If you have not already signed up for a service and would like to add, please contact sfitzsimons@sasaustin.org.

Camp Description:
The goal of this camp is to offer children a fun, empowering, educational, and creativity-boosting camp experience. Children will enjoy a nurturing, supportive, non-competitive atmosphere, will stretch, strengthen and energize their bodies and minds, learn to express themselves creatively and compassionately, practice working cooperatively in large and small groups, be introduced to activities they may not have tried before, learn self-regulation techniques, develop special friendships and have loads of fun!
What's included:
We will create a yoga journal with pictures of campers in each pose that we learn. By the end of the week, campers will have a practice journal to help them remember how to practice yoga at home. Campers who come to multiple weeks will learn and journal progressively more challenging poses each week. Anynone who attends the yoga camp will receive a camp t-shirt!
