The final test will be Thursday, 5/19 (White Day) and Friday, 5/20 (Red Day). It is a very quick turn around on a retake. I will publish a link to the proof in Schoology the day of the test, so students will have access to work on it as soon as they want. All students will have time on Monday at school to work on the retake proof. The retake will be on Tuesday, 5/24. There will be an in class project next week. Students who are absent the day of the project will be exempted.

Changes next year for Breakfast & Lunch
Due to funding from a federal program, we were able to supply free meals to all children ages 18 and under for the past two years. That program is ending on the last day of school. After the last day of school, we can no longer provide universal free meals or bulk frozen meal kits.
This means students attending summer school will need to pay for breakfast and lunch, or they can bring their own food. Families who think they might qualify for free and reduced meals should apply for these benefits. If you applied for the 2021-2022 school year, you do not need to reapply for summer school, and you can check with your school's social worker or our Nutrition Services department if you are unsure.
The application for the 2021-2022 school year and 2022 summer school will extend to the first 30 days of the 2022-2023 school year, and then eligible families will need to reapply to receive the meal benefits for the remainder of the upcoming school year.
If your child is eligible for free and reduced meal benefits and you apply, you can also receive additional benefits like fee waivers, activity scholarships, free screenings, school supplies and more.

Middle School Supply List
Middle School Grading - Assessment vs. Academic Practice
Assessment Scoring - 80% of the a student's grade will come from Assessments such as tests, quizzes and projects. These assessments can be retaken or reworked. Students will be required to show proof of extra work done in order to retake a test.
Academic Practice Scoring - 20% of the student's grade will come from practice activities such as homework, class activities, and other practice activities. According to Park Hill practice, these assignments (including homework) cannot be reworked and graded late unless an absence is involved. See the scoring rubric for these assignments below. You can earn up to three points for each activity graded.Missing Assignments
