Week of December 13th @ LVMS

We were very excited to welcome our students back to in-person instruction at LVMS last week!


As a reminder, before and after school clubs, sports, and all other events are proceeding as normally scheduled. Please review below carefully as some dates and events have been revised.


Special thanks to our Art Teachers Mrs. Clark and Mr. Mita for designing an impressive "welcome back message" for all of our students to see as they walked through the doors last Thursday!

Athletics

Boys and Girls Basketball resumed practices on Thursday, December 9th. Both teams will be in action taking on Black River Middle School on Monday, December 13th. For more information check out the full schedules below.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, STUDENT SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.

Don't Forget! Spirit Point will be earned by each homeroom's participation in special events and spirit days held throughout the school year. At the end of the year, there will be ONE Grand Prize Winner and additional prizes for Second and Third place.

LVMS Coat for Kids Continues!

Nov. 29th - Dec. 20th


Please donate gently used coats, sweaters, hoodies, or sweatshirts!


All donations can be brought to the donation box found in the front vestibule.


All items should be in usable condition

Health and Safety

Holiday Travel: Per our Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Turnamian - all are asked to adhere to CDC guidance, however as a school, we do not enforce CDC guidelines; we will not exclude students based on travel quarantine recommendations.


There are no domestic travel quarantine recommendations at this time. CDC Domestic Travel Guidelines (updated 10/4/2021)


International travel requires testing for leaving/returning to the U.S., and quarantines for non vaccinated travelers. CDC International Travel Guidelines (updated 10/25/2021)


COVID Activity Index Level (CALI) - As of 12/10/2021 the district received notification that our region’s CALI score transitioned to High (Orange). This requires the district to move our quarantine day requirement to 14 days. The 14 day quarantine requirement will be applied to close contacts notified going forward. It does not impact any individuals currently in a quarantine status.
