PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Tuesday, March 29, 2022
Dear SFX Family,
Old Metairie Fest is just a few days away! Please keep praying for good weather. Below you will find reminders about the fair. Also, don't forget that this Friday is a regular dismissal day, but there is no after school care due to fair set-up. All students must be picked up on time.
I would like to say thank you to Mrs. Jessica Welty and her committee of volunteers for making the Father Daughter Dance a beautiful success! Saturday evening was wonderful.
Next week is standardized testing for grades 3-7. Please make sure your child/ren get a good night's sleep, eat a hearty breakfast, and are on time each day.
IMPORTANT REQUEST: Please do not attempt to enter Metairie Road traffic from Avenue A after exiting Betz Place. We are trying to keep traffic flowing, and it has proven to be dangerous when both the car line and Metairie Rd. traffic are moving while cars are attempting to turn left from Avenue A. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
I hope you have a great rest of the week and see you at the Fest!
May God bless you and keep you,
Jessica
Jessica A. Dwyer, M.Ed.

P.S. Have you been receiving the Parent Alert texts from school this year? If not, be sure to text "START" to 22383! We send text messages with important reminders or urgent information.
