Parents, you can take pictures and post to your student's journal of the activity, and a picture of their completed card on the last day of the month. Fall Book Fair - September 23 - 27!
This year we are trying a new book fair, Follett Book Fairs. The Follett company is actually where I order a lot of our books for the library. It is my understanding from other librarians that their book fair books are better bound, better quality titles, and a better selection.
The Fall and Spring book fairs are the library's only source of money (aside from grants I write) for the library budget. I use the money to build and update our book collection based on student and teacher requests, dated materials by ordering new, fresh, and appealing titles, and replacing lost books.
