Hello Manning Parents,


Our sixth graders returned from Outdoor Lab last week and they had a great time! I want to thank all of the Manning staff members who attended and/or visited Outdoor Lab to support our students.


December 19 and 20 - On Monday, December 19, all Manning students will attend school and will get to watch the school production of Frozen for part of their day. They will also attend their classes on Dec. 19.


Tuesday, December 20 is designed to make sure all students have the opportunity to have a strong finish to the semester. Any student who is absent during the week of December 12th and misses a final exam should come in on Tuesday, December 20, to make up the final they missed. Students who have less than a C may be asked to come in to complete an assignment if it will make a difference in their final grade.


*Our Manning Choir put on great performances last Friday and Saturday alongside the Colorado Repertory Singers. Great job by Shawna Mendez and Lauren Montgomery leading our singers!


*Our STEAM students went on a field trip to I-Fly last week where they were able to participate in "indoor skydiving!" What a fun opportunity for our students.


*Choice enrollment begins tomorrow, December 6 and the first round ends on January 13.


*Many Jeffco Schools will change their start and end times next year....Manning will stay the same, starting at 8:25 am and dismissing at 3:25 pm.

We had another great turnout and great conversation with special appearances from Cheri Cahill, Tony Hughes and a couple of our amazing Math Counts students! Teacher Classroom Wishlist | There are still a handful of items remaining on our classroom wishlists. How amazing would it be to grant all of our teacher’s wishes before winter break?! We have compiled an Amazon Wishlist full of amazing items to be used in the classroom. Search “Manning Teachers and Staff Wishlist Items 22/23” in your Amazon app or use this link from your computer to shop. You can purchase items for the classroom that will be sent directly to the school.

Tee Shirt Art Contest | PTA is partnering with the art team to on a new spirit wear T-shirt competition. A ballot will be sent out to the student body to vote on the winning design and orders will follow. Remind your child to check it out!
