Sunrise Center has moved!

We have a new facility!

We have signed the lease and we have the keys!

Our new address is 21810 Hwy 18 Apple Valley, Ca 92307. As of right now our support groups will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm. Now that we have the room we have added a group for young adults ages 19-25 as well as a group for parents that have lost a child. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for any current changes.

Scholarship Program

SHCF awards a $20,000 renewable scholarship every year to a local high school student that has suffered a tragedy or loss of someone close to them. These students will be selected and interviewed by Foundation Board Members on the scholarship committee. This scholarship is open to all high schools in the High Desert Region and may be used at the post-secondary school of their choice.

Ryan Cambridge Memorial Grant - up to $5000 Annually

Ryan Cambridge was a local contractor and business owner that tragically lost his life in a construction accident in 2005. Each year, Ryan's legacy is kept in perpetuity by awarding up to $5000 in matching grants to our local Eagle Scout troops for projects that are construction related. These projects will be created in order to better enhance our community, as well as keep the monies raised within our community.
