Showing Our CARES Near & Far Coin Drive
Last week, we finished up our fundraiser “Showing Our Cares Near and Far” and it was a huge success! As a school, we raised over $2,000 with 75% of the donations going to Healing Haiti and 25% going to the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf. This fundraiser was extra special because it was an idea presented and planned by two of our 5th grade students. As a reward, the class that brought in the most money will have the opportunity to video call one of the classrooms in Haiti. Thank you for coming together as a community to support others!

Students going in to 5th grade next year can participate in Band. The summer beginning band program consists of a 45-minute small-group lesson, Monday through Thursday from July 8 til August 1. The summer session concludes with a concert for parents the evening of the last day. We cover about a year’s worth of material in four weeks. For more information, please click here.
You can sign up for Summer Band at any of the four evening Band Sign-Up Nights in April. Reputable music instrument dealers will also be present to provide instrument rentals for you. You only need to attend one of the Band Sign-Up Nights anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Band Sign-Up dates and locations are:
- Tue, April 23 at Turtle Lake Elementary School
- Thu, April 25 at Edgewood Middle School
- Tue, April 30 at Highview Middle School
