Physical Appearance
Giraffes have cream coloured fur with darker blotches scattered around their body. Fully grown giraffes stand 16-20 ft. tall, and males are taller than females. The average weight for male giraffes is 1,192 lbs. and 828 lbs. for females. Giraffes have long, lanky legs and a neck that's, on average, 6ft long.

Diet
Giraffes are commonly herbivores, but they have been known to go around to old carcasses and lick dried meat off the bones. They mainly feed on shrubs, grass, fruit, and the branches of trees. Food for giraffes are more abundant in the wet season more than the dry.
