New Superintendent Announcement
The Board of Education is pleased to announce Dr. Ty Crain as the new Superintendent for Fulton Public Schools beginning July 1, 2020. Dr. Crain is in his third year with the District as Assistant Superintendent and has 19 years of experience in education.
Dr. Crain is a Central Missouri native raised on a family farm outside of Eldon. After receiving an Agricultural Education degree from the University of Missouri, Dr. Crain taught high school agriculture in northeast Missouri for six years. He then served as a building principal for 10 years before moving to Fulton as the Assistant Superintendent for Fulton Public Schools.
Student learning, continuous improvement, and building relationships throughout the community and county will be the focus for Dr. Crain as he begins his tenure as the Superintendent of Fulton Public Schools.
Dr. Crain resides in Fulton with his wife Lucy who works as a dietitian for the Callaway County Health Department. They have two children Jackson, a student at Fulton Middle School, and Carson who attends Bush Elementary.
