Sunny Heights Families,
It was great to have a full week of school this week after the weather challenges of last week! We are working through the new practice of students taking their iPads and chargers between school and home each day. It is very important that students charge their devices each not when possible and return their devices with charger each day. Students will be taking their NWEA assessments in the next couple of weeks and it is imperative that they have charged devices to complete NWEA which is completely online. The NWEA assessments provide our teachers important data used to identify individual student needs for academic growth.
3rd graders will be taking the state IREAD-3 test in a few weeks, which is also completely online. It will be extremely important that our 3rd graders have charged devices that for that testing as well. We understand this is a new practice and there will be hiccups along the way, but your support and cooperation is greatly appreciated!
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Your Proud Principal,

ALL STUDENTS - ATTENDANCE
For the 2020-2021 school year, Warren Township has transitioned to a new student information system called Synergy allowing our parents and caregivers to have improved access to school information through the parent portal called ParentVUE. We are aware that at this time some students’ attendance records are reflecting students are absent, when in fact they were present. This is mostly the case for our students who are attending school VIRTUALLY on application days or in the VIRTUAL opinion full-time. We want to assure you that teachers are keeping accurate attendance records and that we are working to correct attendance records for all our students.
