The BRAHMA BULL-etin!
The Week of 09/05/2021
---------- 🐮----------
"Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it" - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Greetings Brahmanians,
This year Homecoming came early and we did our best to celebrate it to the fullest! Please follow the link, https://www.facebook.com/MacArthurNEISD and check out all the photos of the week of events and celebrations.
As a reminder, We do NOT have school Monday, September 6th, as it is the observed holiday, Labor Day. There are no classes on Monday. We resume classes on Tuesday.
*Please support the Fall 2021 JROTC Fundraiser and visit the MAC "Fan Cloth" SHOP, http://fancloth.shop/7LDEB. Time for a new beanie, maybe a light jacket?*
As a reminder, regarding the MORNING TARDIES. Thank you! We have a dramatic drop in the number of morning tardies. We need to keep that momentum going. School starts at 8:50 AM, with the warning bell ringing at 8:40 AM. Students are expected in class and in a seat by 8:50 AM. If a student arrives to class 6 or more minutes late, the student is counted absent. It is imperative that students arrive on campus on time and get to class as quickly as possible.
Also, the END OF DAY PICKUP has improved. We are getting better. As a reminder, please do NOT stop in the active drop off/pick up line. Treat that lane like the lines at the airport. Keep moving. No waiting zone in those lines. Stopping and putting your hazards on isn't ok. If you are going to stop, find a parking spot. By stopping, you are essentially clogging the egress of everyone behind you.
HORNS UP!
Mr. Hernandez, Principal
