HALO HIGHLIGHT
Our recent Havana Nights All Saints Dinner Auction was a tremendous success, in a large part thanks to you. We have created an ad hoc committee to allocate auction funds. All faculty, staff and coaches had the opportunity to submit a grant request for the committee to review. The committee, composed of a parent representative, a faculty representative and school administration, will begin meeting next week to decide how best to spend the funds. In an effort to be transparent, a full report of the use of the auction funds will be detailed in the newly created magazine, The Spirit of St. Louis Catholic, which you will receive in November.
God Bless,
Andrew R. Bradley, Principal

This year's Homecoming Queen will be announced at halftime of the Saints’ football game Oct. 5 against Iowa.
Our Homecoming Parade is Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 5:30 p.m. This time-honored tradition is a hallmark of Homecoming Week, and we invite the Saints community to participate and attend. Visit our website for more details, and simply fill out the Google form by Sept. 26 to ride in the parade.
Saints Alumni:
At 9 a.m. on Oct. 3, we will honor all alumni during our weekly Mass in the St. Louis Catholic Commons, along with the 2018 Homecoming Court. We welcome your attendance!
Also that afternoon, join us for the Homecoming Parade that will line the streets around campus at 5:30 pm.
Alumni and their families also are invited to a Homecoming Tailgate at Cougar Stadium on Friday, Oct. 5, starting at 4 p.m. The Saints then take on Iowa at 7 p.m. You can buy tickets to the game at the school office or at the gate.
Academic Updates: College Application Help Desk Workshops
The counseling team is offering four opportunities before Homecoming to help seniors and their parents work through online college application issues. The workshops will be limited to 15 student/parent pairs so that our counselors have time to talk with each family about their trouble spots. Here are the guidelines:
The student MUST have already created an account and started the online application process.
The student MUST accompany their parent and bring his/her school tablet to log into the college application.
The workshops are next week at St. Louis Catholic on Monday, Sept. 24, and Thursday, Sept. 27, from 2-3 p.m. Evening workshops will be held the following week. Senior families - watch for an email with more information and the link to sign up.

Congratulations to Choir Students

Tech Talk with Melanie LeJeune
Please help your student remember to check for Windows updates at home. They received video instructions through email. Subscribe to Mrs. LeJeune’s Parent YouTube Channel to see that video and others.
Ask your student about Office Lens. We sent an email about this FREE app describing how it can help them turn paper notes into digital notes. It’s like having a scanner on your phone.
