To Our Gator Family
Thank you for a great short week and for the commitment you make each and every day to the work we do! It's the most important work and YOU are the ones responsible for the outcomes. There's simply no one better than you!
The week ahead is a fun one... Wednesday is "Positive Thinking Day" and Friday will be "Dot Day." So for those of you who love jeans, feel free to wear them on Wednesday with a tee that has a positive message and on Friday with your favorite "dotted" shirt.

A few reminders:
*Make sure you are being mindful to stay on the schedule that is posted on your door.
*If you are going to be out, please arrange for someone to cover your morning and/or afternoon duty. It is vital that we have all locations covered during arrival and dismissal.
*Teachers, please make sure students' phones are turned off and in backpacks during the day. They can take them out when they get to their dismissal location.
*Make sure to have your small group lesson plans complete and linked to the google folder no later than Monday morning each week.
*Doors locked and closed at all times unless you are physically in the doorway greeting students.
*All teachers will need to have their schedules posted outside your classroom.
*Please make sure you are dropping off and picking up on time from Specials. They are on a tight schedule!
*Make sure grade-level newsletters are going home each week. Please add Mrs. Shaklee, Mrs. Ward, and Mrs. Williams to your email list for your newsletters.
*Remember to keep up with your CHAMPS expectations.
*Please email Dana with any work orders you need to be entered.
*Please make sure you are splitting up at recess to actively monitor the playground - this includes the field.
*If you are going to be out, it is important that you TRY to find a sub. Please refer to the preferred substitute list and attempt to call along with entering the absence into Frontline.

Coaches Corner
- We love seeing all the great things happening in all of your rooms! As the Instructional Coach, we want to support you in your delivery of the workshop components the next 2 weeks. Below will be our areas of focus:
- Reading instructional focus
- K-3 will be phonics
- 4-6 will be mini-lesson
- Math instructional focus
- K-6 will be number talks
- K-2 Teachers please complete the mClass schedule linked. Students should be divided equally among ICs and teacher. Please note the date and time that we will be coming to your class. Lunch and conference were taken into consideration but recess may need to be adjusted for the day so that we can complete as many classes on Day 1. There is a Day 2 if needed. Also, please note that times are approximate. If the mClass Assessment team finishes a class early, we will push into another class sooner.
- 3-6th grade teachers, please make sure that you are using the new updated Universal Screener RIT score to determine Tier 2 and Tier 3 for MAP. This was updated after our last PLC.
