Nurse's Day May 5th, 2021

Healthcare workers are undoubtedly the backbone of our community, as they fiercely accept the dangers of the unknown and work to save lives daily. The job of a Nurse is incredibly tough during a pandemic. Every life is precious to them and they are never off duty from taking care of the sick. In other words they are dedicated to the call day in and day out. On May 5th we acknowledge the heroes of our community, especially our own Mrs. Anne- Marie Gilbert!

Mrs. Gilbert, thank you for being a true fighter! The Hurffville is a happier and healthier place because of you!

During arrival and dismissal we will continue using our larger parking lot for students in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade classrooms; and our small parking lot for 2nd, 4th, and Autism classrooms.

Morning Drop-off- When dropping your child off at school, please follow the drop off arrows in the picture down below. Staff members assigned to bus duty will guide you in the parking lot. Simply pull up to the drop off area along the sidewalk and stop at the crosswalk to let your child out of the car. Once your child is dropped off, follow the directional pattern. Buses will use the indicated bus lane and park in the designated spots alongside of the school. Please use extreme caution and patience when entering the parking lot. After 9:30 a.m. you will need to sign your child in to school. When you arrive at the front doors, please call the main office. A staff member will meet you at the front door, ask you to sign the arrival book, and will guide your them to class.

  • Buses will begin arriving in the parking lot at 9:20 a.m., and parents driving students to school should plan to arrive between 9:20 and 9:25 a.m.
  • Once inside, students will follow directional arrows and maintain six feet of distance as they proceed to their classrooms.
