LEARNING GOALS- DATA WALLS
Why learning goals? At East Lee Middle School our mission is to drive instruction by creating grade level specific tools for students and teachers that encourage goal setting and accountability, thus increasing success through motivation. Students at East Lee Middle School will be responsible for creating 1 student achievement goal in each class for the 2014-2015 school year. Teachers will be responsible to collaborate with their students and create 1 classroom goal. Individualized Classroom goals should be posted in the classroom and tracked over time.
If visitors came to a data driven classroom, they would see…
• Classroom Mission Statements
• Classroom Goals
• Learning Standards/Objectives
– In Kid friendly language
Visitors would feel …
• an excitement for learning,
• a willingness to collect and analyze data to improve learning,
