Reading Skills
We will continue finalizing our wax museum speeches. Students will need to have their wax museum costumes and speeches completed and at school on Wednesday, April 19th. We will present our speeches in class as a rough draft. The final wax museum presentations open the public will take place on Friday, May 5th. More information to follow.
This week in class, we will read the story Suki's Kimono. Our vocabulary words are cotton, festival, graceful, handkerchief, paces, pale, rhythm, and snug. We will review the consonant-vowel/vowel-consonant syllable pattern. Our literature skill is compare and contrast. Our grammar skill is adjectives and articles.
Social Studies
We will continue working on landforms. We will discuss where different landforms can be found, and how they are formed.
