This Week's Happenings:
One more week until Pumpkin Book Reports are due. It's time to think about what you and your child can enjoy creating together. We can't wait to see your creations! If you are unable to print the Book Report form, extra copies will be sent home.

DUE MONDAY, OCTOBER 23!
Math
We will work on reading, writing, and representing numbers to 10, focusing on different ways to make a number. For example, 4 and 6 make 10. We are still not using symbols, just the concept.
We will learn all about nickels and compare them to pennies.
Please help your child practice at home. Our new goal is at least 50.
Science and Social Studies
In Science, we will begin our unit on magnets.
In Social Studies, our next unit is Authority Figures & Community Helpers.
