The Lockport City School District will begin Kindergarten registration for all children who will be 5 years of age on or before December 1, 2022. Children must be registered in order to attend school in September.

FIRST: Call the Board of Education office to set up an appointment for registration at (716) 478-4811 or (716) 478-4817. You can request a registration packet to be mailed if you are unable to download the forms.

NEXT: Complete the packet and submit to the Board of Education the forms and necessary documents indicated on the registration checklist. All forms should be filled out prior to your appointment

New Kindergarten Parents/Guardians Documentation

• Two (2) current proofs of residency
• Photo identification (driver’s license, passport)
  
• Updated custody papers (if applicable)
  
• Proof of Age for student (birth certificate, passport, or baptism certificate)

If you are registering for Kindergarten and your child attends the YWCA UPK program at John Pound, registration is not required. You need to update the following documents only:

• Change of Address Form with two (2) current proofs of residency (if applicable)
• Updated custody papers
• Completed Emergency Health Form
