EOY mClass Alternate Assessors
Just a reminder that the EOY assessment window opens this week for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades. Please be mindful of those testing in the halls and remind your students to be at a Level 0 during transitions. Thank you!
K-2 EOY window is from May 3 - 25
3rd EOY window is from May 17-June 8
Retention Meetings
Please remember to schedule a conference with parents to discuss retention with those who are valid candidates for retention. Remember these are families that you have had meetings with all year long to discuss their child's gaps, they received the February 25th In Danger of Retention letters, and have been Tier 3 students in MTSS. These meetings should be scheduled with an administrator and a Light's Retention Scale should be completed and discussed with administration prior to scheduling.
Cookie Dough Dance Party
Thursday, May 12 @ 2:00 in the CAFETERIA!
You will receive a list of those to attend the party! Assistants, if possible, please see if you are needed to help supervise. Thank you!
Letterland at
Tweetsie
Our first graders and staff enjoyed a cool day with all the Letterland gang! Thanks to all of those who attended and helped make this a trip to remember!
Railroad
Our new play structure is almost here!!
Construction is nearly finished and the mulch has been delivered. Even with the need for the cement to cure 72 hours, we should celebrate our Grand Opening on our new structure this week. A big thank you to our PIT Crew and everyone who participated in our Fun Run this fall!
MTSS Shout Out!
Ms. Carol Elliott and Ms. Carolyn Sloan took advantage of the first MTSS turn in date to submit their folders for review. Both ladies did a tremendous job of documentation and implementation of MTSS. Their folders looked great! On behalf of your students...THANK YOU!
