After Prom is an annual event that is held right after the Prom to provide our students a safe and fun place to continue their celebration. It is completely donation funded and constructed by the advisors, staff, and parents. Parent meetings are open to all parents no matter what grade your child is in.
We will meet 1x per month. Announcements/email will be made.

Art Club is an opportunity for students to have extended time outside of class to work on course related art projects or personal passion projects. We also work with the DHS community to offer art activities for school events. Best Buddies

Best Buddies is a national organization dedicated to creating one-on-one friendships between an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities and an individual without. Join us as we create a more inclusive and positive community at Dartmouth High. Buddy pairs will be formed to help create the best high school experience for all through monthly activities and events like craft days, bake nights, trivia nights, and movie nights. Let’s make this year something special together!
Meeting times are monthly during PASE. Meetings are posted in the Best Buddies google classroom.

The BSU mission is to support the social, cultural, and academic needs of students of color here at Dartmouth High School. We are committed to having a safe space for students of color to express themselves, discuss important topics relating to race, ethnicity, personal experience, and have a voice as members of the school community. Our focus is to build awareness of the experiences and issues that impact our students of color and to promote acceptance, inclusion and an appreciation for diversity. This club is open to all students regardless of racial and/or cultural differences. This club welcomes diversity as it provides a table for rich discussion, understanding and acceptance. Chess Team

The Chess Club will be using LiChess to play games against each other virtually. The league will also complete with head-to-head matches using LiChess.
The Chess Team will meet Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. via Google Meet.
DHS Comic Book Club

The DHS Comic Book Club meets once every week to have fun, friendly, and casual conversations about favorite comic books, characters, and fictional universes. Students can bring comics to read and share with other club members if they choose. In addition, students also organize casual comic book and fictional universe trivia games, giving them the opportunity to discuss new worlds, and expand their imaginations.
Creative Writing Club

Creative writing is a club where students who want to focus on this aspect of writing can come together, gather ideas, and hone their craft.
Students will meet every 3rd Thursday of the month during PASE in C29 and every last Monday of the month after school.
Dance Club

The Dance Club, originated in 2019, is a place for students in all grades and all dance levels to come together to share their love of dancing. We learn various styles of dance: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballroom/Latin, and Lyrical/Contemporary. Students will learn choreography from Mrs. Enoksen, each other and guest instructors. Students have the opportunity to perform at various school wide events, such as our annual fall pep rally, a handful of basketball home games and the Unified Art Show. More performance opportunities are in the works!
The Dance Club will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:15 - 3:15 in the Auditorium. *We will tentatively add a Monday practice from 2:15-3:15 to prepare for the pep rally up through November!
Dartmouth High Theater Company

DHTC’s mission is to promote, maintain, and support an enthusiastic interest in theatre and attain the highest degree of participation and excellence in theatre for the students of Dartmouth High School. The company is a self-supported organization, funded by the work of students and parent volunteers, and we welcome all high school students to audition for any of our upcoming shows. If you love to sing, dance, act, or work backstage, this is the club for you!
The Theater Company meets on Tuesdays 6-9PM for choreography, Wednesdays 6-9PM for music, and Sundays 12-5PM for blocking as needed.
Debate Club

DECA

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Join over 225,000 high school students from around the country, network, meet new friends, achieve recognition, win awards and scholarships, develop leadership and communication skills, build your resume, determine a career path, travel, and make a difference in your community!
Leadership meetings will occur almost daily in PASE. Role play work will begin shortly in PASE and/or virtually at a time convenient to students and advisor.
Engineering Club

The Engineering club focuses on building sound design and engineering practices through the use critical thinking and project-based learning. Members will have opportunities to fabricate with the use of CAD software in the areas of: Laser Cutting, 3D modeling & Printing, RC Planes & Drones, and underwater ROV design and competition. Take your gaming to the next level. Join the DHS eSports team to train and compete with other gamers. All are welcome, whether you wish to compete on one of our teams, or just enjoy casual gaming. This year's competition games include Super Smash Ultimate, Mario Kart, Splatoon 3, League of Legends, Madden, NBA 2K, Rocket League, Hearthstone, Brawlhalla, Rainbow Six: Siege, CS: GO, Minecraft, Valorant, Halo: Infinite, and 10 minute chess!

Fishing Club

The fishing club will meet weekly to discuss local fishing trips from shore. Members will be responsible for transportation to and from the locations of the fish excursions. Meetings will occur once a week in the fall and spring (during fishing seasons). Winter meetings will include workshops by members about tackle and gear maintenance, sustainable fishing practices, and fishing techniques. Please email Mr. Tweedie for more details.

Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA)

Gender and Sexuality Alliances, or GSAs, are student-led and student-organized school clubs that aim to create a safe, welcoming, and accepting school environment for all youth, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Allies, and students who do not identify as LGBTQ+ are always welcome.
The club will meet during PASE on Wednesdays.

We are a community service club. Our main focus is to find needs in the community and help! One major project we do each month is help at Gifts to Give. In addition to this, we help with holiday collections for various organizations, fundraisers for charities, and look to our members for other activities to participate in.

Literary Arts Magazine

The Literary Arts Magazine seeks to unite a community of writers, artists, photographers and creators here at Dartmouth High School to publish our annual collection of student creative work. We are seeking editors who want to help create this annual publication that will now be virtual.

Math Team

The Math Team competes in the SMCML and meets will be happening virtually using Google Forms. There will be 4 meets for the year and 1 playoff meet for the top 8 schools in the league.

Medical Careers Club

Club members will meet to brainstorm ideas for the virtual club. Some ideas may include guest presenters, and presentations from upper class men regarding medical field career choices and the college admission process. We will also pursue ways to get CPR certified as well as possibly planning a much needed blood drive.
Every / other Wednesday after school and/or during PASE. The day and frequency may change depending on the desires of club members.
Multi-Cultural Club

The Multicultural Club respectfully explores different cultures from all over the world. We create bulletin boards, celebrate holidays from around the world and learn about all cultures, including the Wampanoag culture right here in southeastern Massachusetts.

National Honor Society

National Honor Society is a club based on the pillars of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character that is open to juniors and seniors who exemplify these traits as well as maintaining a 4.0 GPA. There is an application & induction process which happens in the Spring of each school year.

Robotics Team

Dartmouth High School Robotics Club students build robots to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge. We comprise two FTC teams, 13406 Consistently Inconsistent and 7571 Alumineers. A different challenge is released every year, and we tackle the new game each season as our respective teams. Our robotics team comprises passionate and driven individuals committed to developing innovative robots. Whether designing, constructing, or programming our robots, we approach each challenge with creativity, determination, and teamwork. As a team, we are constantly striving to improve and refine our abilities, and we are thrilled to see where our journey `will take us in the future. No experience is necessary to join, and you will learn all about engineering and working in a collaborative environment through this club. Hope you are interested in joining!
We meet after school every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30 and encourage members to meet during PASE in A5 (the room between Mr. Martin and Mr.Brodsky).
Science Club

Students will be involved with a Stop the Spread STEM Week Challenge. Work as a team (or teams) to develop an app that will help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community. They will be pitching their app to industry and health care professionals. They are working entirely virtually to research issues related to the spread of the virus and to plan and develop the app. Following their return to school, students will have the opportunity to develop research projects that lead to the state science fair competition. Students will have access to the biotechnology lab during PASE and after school to work on those projects.
Students will meet on Mondays during PASE with other dates available for interested students.
The Spectrum - DHS School Newspaper

Our Student Council strives to represent and serve the Dartmouth High School student body. The Student Council acts as an intermediary between that staff and students of Dartmouth High School, while promoting a cooperative school environment. Introduction to traditional poses will be combined in a creative flowing way, gently stretching and building the body and mind calmly . Breathing and relaxation techniques will inspire mindfulness and peace bringing resilience, support ,and compassion for yourself and others.
Followed by
Will be translating and connecting the practice of mindfulness through centering and creating creative forms on the Potter’s wheel and or building small sculptures inspired by Yoga Poses and sequences through handbuilding techniques.
Come participate and be a part of this Positive and Fun Experience!
We will meet Tuesdays after school until 3 pm.
Unified Bowling Club

Unified Bowling brings together students with and without
disabilities to bowl together on a level playing field. Students not only get to bowl, but also build friendships, experience teamwork, and most of all have fun.

DHSTVmedia club produces various video programs that air on our popular YouTube channel. Come help out "behind the scenes" as a camera operator, graphic designer, editor, director, and producer. Work as talent by creating your own show and starring in front of the camera. Students also have the unique opportunity of working with Dartmouth Community Television in similar roles. The possibilities are endless and the experience is "one of a kind"
