Halloween/Classroom parties

Elementary Holiday Parties

In order to continue our focus on core instruction and to adhere to the district's safety guidelines, elementary schools are making changes to our typical holiday parties for the school year.

  • On Friday, October 29, the elementary schools will be having an end of the month spirit day. Kids will be able to come to school dressed up in accordance to the theme the school decides on to add some fun into the day. Each classroom will also be having a variety of fun academic activities in the classrooms for the students as we bring the month of October to a close. In addition, each parent organization (HSO/HSA/PTO/PTA) will be hosting a night event for students and families to enjoy during the evening.
  • For the Winter party and Valentine's party, each classroom will plan on having academic themed activities throughout the day.

Please keep an eye out for specific information from your child's school in regards to these events. As always, if you would prefer your child does not participate in these activities during the school day, please let your child's teacher know so s/he has alternate activities planned.

TRUNK OR TREAT event- 10/24
Get ready for our first ever Trunk or Treat event-
Mark your calendar for October 24th from 2-4 PM!
The kids will get to trick or treat, do a trunk scavenger hunt, vote on their favorite trunk in a number of different categories and more.

In order to make this event happen we are in need of families to decorate trunks and hand out treats to our students.
** This is your friendly reminder that if there aren't enough trunks passing out treats the event won't be as fun/ successful for our students- Please consider hosting a trunk! **

We can't wait to see your creativity! But NO worries if crazy creative isn't your style- just a smiling face passing out treats is perfect!
ANY level of deco at ANY type of vehicle trunk would be great (Check dollar store, pinterest, google or FB message us if you need some ideas)!

Please sign up here to decorate a trunk and pass out treats:
