ISOK High School
9/25/2020
From the Principal's Desk
Please understand that ISOK High School is on a block schedule. This means that, instead of semesters that run from August to December and January to May, our school operates in 4 blocks, in which our "semesters" run in 9-week block from August to October, October to December, January to March, and March to May.
Our first block ends on October 14th. Students must be passing their courses with a 60% or better to be able to earn the credits for their courses and remain on track to graduate.
If your student is not passing his or her courses, please help us support him or her over the next 2 weeks to improve grades and finish out courses strong!
Please review the information below for news and updates about our school!
New Survey for Night School
Principal Safe has created a NEW survey that you will you use to sign up for Night School. Please understand that the school is providing teachers to support you during the evenings, so it is important that you commit to attending and participating for the evenings on which you sign up. Please do not sign up if you do not intend to participate regularly.

Required Assessments in Star360
All students in 9th-12th grades will take Star360 assessments this year for math and reading. These will be taken in August, December, and May. Additionally, all students will be taking a USA Test Prep assessment in October and March to ensure students are meeting their grade level standards and to simulate state testing. These assessments are required and help our teachers target instruction to meet students’ needs and ensure growth. It is important that students complete these assessments on their own, without assistance from learning coaches or other sources.
Your teachers will also send out information to complete Star360 assessments, but students may begin now to complete them. They must be completed by Friday August 14th.
