What causes this to happen?
It is caused by the damage of your DNA. The mutations can be carried from your parents or you can just get it as you age. Some of the risk factors could be cigarette smoking, age, race, gender, diabetes, obesity, genetics, etc.

Is it common?
Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of death from cancer in the United States. This year about 44,030 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the disease will kill about 37,660 people, according to the American Cancer Society.

Is it serious?
Yes, 95% people die from having this disease
