Hello Panther Community

Our first two weeks of the semester have brought high numbers of student absences. As we continue to battle the COVID surge, please see the email below for how to support your student when they are at home. Students who are in need of a device while at home have two options

  • We can check out a Chromebook to students to use at home for up to four weeks
  • Chromebooks are available for sale ($50) at the district office

Ms. Kidd, our Learning Support Coordinator will be monitoring students who are out for extended periods to ensure that they have support when they return.

Homework Club Update

In order to make sure Homework Club is as successful as possible, we’ve implemented some new policies. Students who want to attend Homework Club must be in the library by 3:30pm. If you arrive after 3:30, you will not be allowed to attend that day. Additionally, students who are misbehaving or not doing their homework will be asked to leave and have their parents called. Remember, Homework Club is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after school in the library. It’s a great place to go for a quiet environment to get your homework done. There’s also a teacher available to help you on assignments.

Food Pantry at Vaca Pena

Vaca Pena is happy to serve our Vaca Pena Families by opening a food pantry. We know times are hard right now, and we love to always be able to serve our Panther community.
