For one ounce of Uranium it costs $1,379. Uranium is a metal. It is apart of the Actinoids family. The origin of its name is comes from the planet Uranus. It was discovered by Martin Heinrich Klaproth. Uranium is lightly radioactive. When pure Uranium is a silvery white metal. Radium is always found in Uranium oars. It is slighty paramagnetic. Uranium is used to fuel nuclear power. It usually has a valence of 4 or 6.
