Principal's Message

Parent Ambassadors

In April we will be welcoming the parents of our new incoming TK and Kindergarten families to learn more about Murwood. We would like to make this event welcoming for all families as they begin the school journey with their children.

One of the beautiful attributes of our school community is the diversity of our families. We are hoping to support multilingual families and families new to the United States become acclimated and supported in our school community. We are looking for parent volunteers to join us at our TK/K Information Night on Wednesday, April 19th to help our new families start healthy connections with our school community. We want families to be comfortable asking questions and learning how they too, are a part of their child's educational team. If you would be interested in being a Parent Ambassador, please fill in this form.

Attendance

Attendance Matters, You Matter! Regular attendance and being on time are very important for our students and their learning and growth. Thank you for supporting this important message with your children. Please also remember that school begins at 8:10am each day, except for Wednesday which starts at 8:55am. It is important that students are ready and in line on the blacktop when the bell rings so they are not coming into the classroom late and disrupting their own learning and the learning of others. Thank you for making sure our students are on time to school and attend regularly!

As Ramadan begins, I know that some of our older students may begin fasting. Please let me or your child's teacher know if we can support your child in any way at school.

A Happy New Year to our families that recently celebrated Persian New Year!

Notes From The Office

Stop on by the front entry and check out our lost and found. We have quite a few sweatshirts, jackets and coats. If your child is missing a clothing item or water bottle, please stop by the lost and found to check for the item.
