Stop Sweatshops
To protect worker's rights
Working in a sweatshop is miserable. The workers are often housed in over-crowded dorms, while the rooms are infested with rats and bed bugs. Their food is terrible and is described as "swine food". Factory temperatures soar to 104 degrees F in summer, making their work very uncomfortable and sweaty. They are given probably less than a dollar per hour. The workers are not permitted to talk or look around. Most sweatshops are open to hiring 14-15 year olds. There are no fire drills and some emergency exits are locked.
Please help to raise awareness of sweatshop conditions and how the workers are treated.
