Star Parents,
We've had an amazing week in Kindergarten! Please be sure to check out your teacher's Twitter accounts to see all the great things we're doing in class!
Important Information
Red Folders:
- Please make sure you look at your child's Red Folder every night and remove the papers from that day. This allows you a chance to see all the hard work your child does every day! We also send home important information and papers that might need to be signed and returned.
Snacks:
- Please have your child's snack in a place other than their lunchbox. We suggest the front or side pocket of their backpack. Children are sometimes confused about what is their snack and what is their lunch.
- We noticed that some snacks are just a few pieces of fruit. This is not holding them over until it is our lunch time. Please remember to not send in any snacks and or items in your child's lunch containing tree nuts or peanuts. Thank you for helping keep our children with food allergies safe and healthy.
Lunch:
- Parents may begin having lunch with their child starting on September 6th. Kindergarten eats lunch at 11:50. There will be tables designated at the front of the cafeteria for you to sit with your child.
Hurricane Harvey Donations:
- Skaggs PTA is organizing efforts to help those in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey. Collection boxes will be available in the grade level hallways and in the carpool line next week. We will be collecting new underwear, new socks, warm-ups, toiletries, baby formula, baby wipes, bottles, diapers, and blankets.
