WEST: for always being on top of her game, so kind, and reading all 584 emails I have sent.
CABRERA: for being so sweet and patient.
- Marbel Donosso
Kudos to the math department who has shown such heart and dedication to our students' learning. You work together as a team and help each other succeed in this new realm of virtual learning. You are valued and appreciated!! Thank you, thank you!!
- Dianne Shaver
Ryan Smosna has been outstanding these last few weeks, well I'm sure few months, but I'm new. He has been there to help the newbies like me and problem solve for the whole campus!!! Every time I see him he is calm, cool, collected and smiling. Ryan, you are a role model of inner peace and problem solving.
- Angela Miceli
Great job, Ashley Pinter! You are a scheduler extraordinaire! Thanks for being my right hand.
- Katy Hohenstein
It is a work of Art to observe the interfacing of the Admin, Teachers and Staff. The great thing about working in this profession is that it’s full of talented and creative people like you all. There’s nothing better than working with people you like and respect, with everyone pitching in and contributing ideas and perspectives that afford our students the education they deserve. Thank you all for the work you do!!!!!
- Mr. Bob
Kudos to Ryan Smosna for being swamped and still answering a couple questions I had. Ms. Perch, I am so impressed with your GLT meeting and enjoy having you as a leader; thanks for sticking around after the meeting to help my brain try to solve something. "Meet Bombs"* happen, and they're happening all over the nation, and I've heard some doozies from around our district this week, including one where it was a parent! To those people it has happened to, I say, "Kudos!" You kept your cool and took care of things the way they needed to be taken care of, and that's important. Hang in there! *"Meet Bomb," "Zoom Bomb": when a person "jumps into" an online meeting uninvited and does inappropriate things and then "jumps out," sometimes multiple times.
- Christy Crowder
Karen Stringer - Thank you for flexibility and willingness to do whatever it takes to meet students' needs.
Eusebia Vasquez - You're doing an amazing job! I can't say enough good things about you. Keep up the good work!
7th grade GLT - I am impressed by your team spirit and willingness to help each other problem-solve. We are all in this together!
- Larissa Ortiz
Special thanks and impressive shout-out to the incomparable Social Studies department for sending out individual parent codes to every student! Also, it was wonderful to have quick calls with Stringer this week, just to check in, share some laughs and solutions. You rock! And mad props to Natori Blue, who presented two amazing lessons in PLC with grace and impressive slide-skills. Natori, you are such a strong educator and I am so grateful I get to work with you!
I also want to send out thanks to our counseling department. Cohen and Swords... you all are on top of helping these students and parents. Thank you for always doing whatever it takes to help all students be in the position to succeed, and find that path to success. Thanks to Mr. Teal, our resident Covid expert and holder of the keys when I lock myself out of my office. And thanks to Dr. Ephlin for always knowing all the things... and then sharing them with us.
Finally, Larissa Ortiz. Girl. You know how grateful I am for you, but special thanks to you for your strength, great wealth of knowledge, and willingness to answer any question with patience and awesome grace. And thanks for that 30 minutes on Wednesday. You continually prepare me for success!!
- Kel Catterton
Kudos to Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Roberson the FCC teachers. They have been doing a great job along with their paras. It's going to be a great year.
- Tulullah McKinley
Thank you to everyone for jumping right back on to the Emergentree Bandwagon so quickly. Can't wait to see all the wonderful data. Also thank you Eusebia Vasquez for doing a great job as Sped Chair and jumping right into the Focus Teacher role. Patti Cole, you and your paras are amazing for stepping up and handling two classrooms while Ms. Campos recovers. Prayers to Ms. Campos for a speedy recovery.
- Elenor Gahchan
Kudos to Wendy Tucker for putting together the grab and go library checkout, and for showing my students how to utilize the curbside checkout. I'm super excited remote learning won't prevent students from checking out great books!!!
