Morning Tardies
We need your help! School begins at 8:30 AM this year only. Yet, students are still arriving to school late. Our periods are shorter this year as well due to our hybrid schedule. Every minute late is a minute of learning lost.
Please help us by working with your child to ensure on time arrival to school. Gates open at 8:10 AM and school begins promptly at 8:30 AM.
Next year we will return to an earlier start time. Thank you for your support.

2021-2022 School Year
Tustin Unified School District teachers, administrators and staff are currently planning for the next school year. Adhering to the health and safety guidelines issued by the California Department of Public Health, we anticipate having students back on campuses for in-person instruction for the 2021-22 school year. We also understand that not all parents and students will feel comfortable attending school in person. Consequently, we have two options for your child for the return to school on August 12, 2021.
Option 1: Attend your school site for full-time, in-person instruction
- No additional action is required at this time.
Option 2: Enroll in Tustin Connect K-12 School for blended or online, independent study instruction
- Click here prior to April 30, 2021 to begin reserving your spot at Tustin Connect K-12.

2021 Tustin Student Arts Showcase - "Reflections of a Pandemic"
The Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA) is thrilled to announce the annual Student Art Invitational as a Student Arts Showcase for 2021. This year’s special theme is “Reflections of the Pandemic.”
To support students during distance/hybrid learning and to respect social distancing guidelines, the application process will be virtual and students are responsible for submitting their own artwork. The theme was selected to give students an opportunity to express themselves through the arts.
The showcase is open to all middle and high school students who attend a secondary school in the Tustin Unified School District or reside within the boundaries of Tustin Unified. TACFA will present cash prizes as it has in the past, awarding up to $4,000 in total.
The expanded categories will include 2D Fine Art, Graphic Art, Photography, 3D Art, Ceramics, Textiles/Fashion, Original Music Composition, Performance Vocal Music, Performance Instrumental Music, Original Dance Choreography, Performance Dance and Film.
TACFA encourages all middle and high school students to enter and share their talent, passion and creativity. Students may only submit one entry.
All entries are due by Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Information about the Tustin Student Arts Showcase can be found on the TACFA website at https://www.tacfa.org/sai-information-entry/.
Please contact Betty Carle at tacfa.sai@gmail.com with any questions about the Student Arts Showcase.
