Message from the Boss...

Teachers,

I know that lots of you have questions about interventions...

What it looks like?

What will I do?

What kids will I have?

What curriculum will I teach?

Please be patient. There are some things that I don't have answers for but I will soon. We will not begin Walk to Intervention until September 10th. Dyslexia groups will continue to do Walk to Intervention but all others will begin the following Monday. Please do not stress.

Couple of Reminders:

1. 6th grade PLC's Tuesday

2. 5th grade PLC's Wednesday

3. Essential PLC Wednesday

4. SPED PLC- Group 1 Tuesday Group 2 Wednesday

5. Progress Reports go home Monday, September 10th.

Have a wonderful, long, much deserved Labor Day Weekend!

Love you,

Casey Hanna

CMSS STAFF FLU CLINIC

It's already time to plan for our annual flu clinics!

We had a great response last year when the health department offered to bring flu vaccines to the buildings, for staff members, so they've offered to do so again this year.

CMSS date is Monday October 8th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Panther Stadium

Please place in your announcements:

For safety purposes:

1. "The Hill" will remain closed this year.

2. We are not permitting any balls to be brought into panther stadium during events.

3. All entrants with passes must also present a school or photo ID.

4. All faculty and staff must present a current school ID for admittance.

Gate Price Change - Please help us with communicating this in a positive way when you hear from parents. Our department is 98% gate funded. These funds go directly back to the student athletes and programs to pay for uniforms, equipment, officials, etc. We have not had a ticket increase since 2002-03 SY. The cost of doing business in all areas has increased since 02-03.

All events grades 8-12 (Varsity, Junior Varsity, B games) will cost $5.

All 7th grade events (when not combined with another event - IE 7/8 game) will cost $4
