Graduation Cap and Gown

Balfour will be on campus for orders on Friday, January 21st during all lunches.

I have attached the order form and example of how to fill it out. We will also have copies in the senior office (1401) if needed.

Reminder that MCHS students wear a custom Cap and Gown, so they must be ordered through Balfour.

All cap and gown orders are delivered to MCHS in April or May (still working on this).

The price for caps and gowns increases after March 1st.

Privacy Codes!!!

We will have a couple of opportunities for your student to be listed on Senior items during the Spring. We will have a Prom shirt with student names and then the Graduation program.

To be able to have your student's name listed on/in these items, their privacy codes cannot be an N.

For only the prom shirt, your student's privacy code must be a Y.

For the graduation program, your student's privacy code must only be O.

If you want your student's name listed on/in both, you will need to make sure that their privacy code is a Y.

To make a change, please email Mrs. Garduno at

For those who do not want to change privacy codes, but would like their student listed in the graduation program, I have attached an Exception Form that must be completed and returned to the Senior Office. This form will work for the graduation program only.

There will be a deadline for these changes that we will communicate at a later date.

Update to Discipline Management Plan (Vapes/e-cigarettes)

Please know that there have been changes to the code of conduct, especially in the area of vaping devices. This is important for seniors to know. After the first vaping offense (including accessories - ex: batteries, empty cartridges, chargers, etc.) students will be recommended for placement to the OAC. Seniors do not want to jeopardize missing out on any senior events. Please familiarize yourself with the policy. The policy can be found here:
