PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
August 25, 2023
Dear Walnut Hills High School Families:
The first full week of school has wrapped up. It has been wonderful to see the hallways bustling once again and our students eagerly diving into their courses. This week class meetings took place across all grade levels. Students were able to receive important information regarding School Counselors, academic supports, campus life, and how to get involved in the Walnut community. Our students were impressive in their respect and attentiveness. Below you will find information on morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, upcoming events, and more beginning of the year information. Thank you all for a fantastic start to the year. We look forward to keeping the positive momentum going.
Sincerely,
John Chambers

Schedule Errors
Please check your schedule on PowerSchool. If you need to report an error please use this link: 23-24 Error Reporting Form. This form was emailed on 8/7/23.
Scheduling errors constitute: 1) if a student does not have all required courses for graduation, 2) If more than one class is scheduled for the same bell 3) if there is a missing bell in the schedule (students should be scheduled for 6 bells out of a 7 bell day).
Once again, in order to accommodate all students, we are only using the Google form to make corrections to schedules. Please do not call or email your school counselor directly as they will be focused only on errors submitted through the Google form.
The Error Reporting form will close on August 31.

Important Reminders
Blair Circle Drop Off and Pick Up Traffic Info
Blair Circle Morning Traffic
Parents utilizing the Blair Circle drop-off for 7:30 AM morning arrival. Please be advised that when you enter Blair Circle, you continue to move forward around the circle until the car in front of you has stopped. Once all cars in front of you have stopped and are beginning to unload, your rider(s) can do the same. We ask that students have their belongings gathered and are ready to exit their vehicle quickly once stopped.
Please do not drop off your students at any point before the doors to the Arcade/Arts & Science building. After your student(s) have exited your vehicle proceed through Blair Circle and exit onto Blair Avenue. Do not attempt to pass cars that are in front of you. We appreciate your cooperation in making sure the flow of traffic is consistent, efficient, and safe for our families and students.
Blair Circle Afternoon Traffic
For families that are using Blair Circle to pick up your student(s) at 3:00 PM dismissal. Please be advised that you need to fully pull your vehicle into the circle area and continue moving forward around the circle until all traffic ahead of you has stopped/parked. Keep your vehicle close to the sidewalk curb. Once you have your student(s), you may safely proceed out of the circle area and onto Blair Avenue. No traffic from Blair Circle will be entering the Gilbert Avenue/Jr High Gymnasium traffic circle. We appreciate your help in making this dismissal process safe and efficient for our families.
