Emergency Foster Care Placement
'Tis the season for many great gifts and acts of kindness and generosity. Here is one more chance to give back.
If you have ever been interested in being a Foster Care Parent, now is the time to act. There are two young children in the Chateaugay Central School District who will greatly benefit from your courageous act of compassion. Please contact Loretta Fowler at 518-497-6611 ext 2300.
This is an opportunity to allow two children already in our district to stay at CCS at such a traumatic time and help provide stability through this holiday season.
New Notification Service
So why several calls? The service wants to make sure that you were notified. That means you will keep getting calls until the message is delivered. So the next time the automated system calls you, please answer the phone with some audible response and the message will play.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to learn the quirks of this new service. Many have responded favorably to the emails, texts and phone calls. We continue our dedication to communicating with everyone more effectively and efficiently.
Elementary and Junior High Winter Concert - December 8, 2016
More Pictures and Videos
Did you miss the concert? No worries - we also have videos.
Congratulations to all the performers and the conductors for a wonderful evening of music. For some of the younger students this was their first performance. For a few of the older ones, it was their chance to step into a leadership role. Listen for some nice band solos, fun songs from the choir and look closely at the pictures for all the fun the students were having showing off their talents for an appreciative audience.
As someone who have stood in the back of the auditorium for many, many performances, I must say that this performance was one of most well attended in a long time. That speaks volumes about the commitment from the parents and the community for the music program and most importantly, the students. It is always easier to perform for a supportive audience.
Thank you to all who attended the performance and to those who donated money to the scholarship fund. The High School Concert will be next Thursday evening at 7:00 PM with the Sing Along scheduled for December 22 at 9:00. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
