The author of books such as Race Matters, Democracy Matters, and Brother West: Living and Loving Out Loud, Dr. West is an internationally known provocateur, and contributes regularly to the “Smiley & West” radio show on Public Radio International. Dr. West has a passion to communicate to a vast variety of publics in order to keep alive the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. – a legacy of telling the truth and bearing witness to love and justice. On Friday, March 7, we will have the honor of hosting Dr. Cornel West for an hour of coffee and conversation at UW Bothell. Beginning at 9:30 a.m., Dr. West will join us for a casual 30-minute coffee time. At 10:00 a.m., Dr. West will sit down for a more formal conversation and will entertain questions from students.
