Excitement is brewing about FJVD Catholic Schools Week Upcoming Activities!

Sun 1/27 – In Our Parish

· 11:30am Mass @ SSJP Church - We hope you can join us!

· FJVD Open House 12:30-2:00pm


· “7 Virtues” will gather at morning prayer service

· Pray Daily (pray for all members of our school community)

Mon 1/28 – In Our Community

· what-to-wear: assigned color (students will find out their team color on or before Fri 1/25)

· Activity – Cranium Competition – 1pm in the gym

Tues 1/29 – In Our Students

· what-to-wear: comfy & cozy pj’s & slippers

· Activity – Chain Reaction Service Project – 1pm classrooms (students only)

Families are welcome to join us in the gym starting around 1:50pm!

National Day of Giving on January 29-30, 2019

NCEA is pleased to present this year's Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools. Scheduled for January 29, 2019, 12 PM EST toJanuary 30, 2019 12 PM EST, this is a time for parents, grandparents, alumni, students, friends, business and community partners to give to their local Catholic school. This national day of philanthropy and camaraderie invites all people who have benefited from a Catholic school education to donate at a local level.

Please follow and share this link to Many Gifts, One Nation to give to Father John V. Doyle School. The site will be able to receive donations from January 29, 2019, 12 PM EST to January 30, 2019 12 PM EST.

· Activity – Name That Tune – 1pm in the gym

· Diocesan Spelling Bee – St. Mary School, Cranston – 4pm

  • Leah & Olivia from grade 7 will represent FJVD

Fri 2/1 – In Our Faculty, Staff, & Volunteers

· what-to-wear: assigned virtue team color

· Activity – Career Day in the morning

· Activity – FJVD Volleyball Team vs. Mystery Opponents – 1pm in the gym
