There are three articles in the English language. The articles are the, a, and an.
Why is "I" A Pronoun?
When people say "I" they're refering to themselves. "I" REPLACES their name, therefore, "I" is a pronoun.
Linking vs. Action Verb
A linking verb is a word that describes what the action is doing. For example, "is" is a linking verb.
An action verb is what the subject or noun is doing. For example, " Sally is playing in the dirt." Playing in the dirt is the action verb.
