New Hanover County Schools (NHCS) will hold initial kindergarten enrollment March 1-March 15, 2023. In order to be enrolled for kindergarten, children must be five years of age on or before August 31, 2023. While it may appear early for registration, this timeline allows NHCS to better prepare for staffing needs and hiring certified teachers at each school, efficiently plan for the next school year, and ensures the prompt processing of your student's enrollment request.

Kindergarten enrollment must be completed using our online platform; if you need in-person assistance with registration, please contact your zoned school. Please join us in welcoming our new co-vice president, Liz Moysey, to our PTA board. Due to a resignation, we had a need, and Liz has graciously agreed to bring her energy and positivity to our board. A little about Liz; her family relocated to Wilmington from Fairfax, VA, in 2021. She has two children at Holly Tree, Max (1st grade) and Skylar (3rd grade). Liz works full-time as a video and podcast producer, and her husband, David, works in procurement. They love the outdoors and spend most of their free time camping, boating and fishing. She is excited to be part of this amazing PTA team!

We are always looking for leaders and volunteers to become more involved in our PTA at Holly Tree. Please see this list of committees below. If there is an area that you would like to be involved in, please, reach out to the committee head and ask how you can help! Some of our committees need leadership heads for the remainder of the school year and some for next year. To help make our school successful we are planning for the future and your help would be so appreciated.
