Reminders:
2. On Monday, Oct. 2, we will say our first school rosary. We are planning to say the rosary outside at the Marian shrine, weather permitting. Look for directions from the Rosary Club advisors about where to stand. Also, make sure you have a set of rosaries for your class.
3. Paper interim reports are going home today to any student who is receiving and D or F in any subject. Please make sure that you have contact these parents to discuss how their child can raise his/her grade by the end of the quarter.
4. Look for a request from the Veteran's Day committee to solicit any veterans from the families in your room to come to you soon. We would like to send formal invitations to those identified to our Veteran's Day program on November 10.
5. We will not have grade level meetings this week.
6. Don't forget Ashley Squires from the diocese will be visiting classrooms today. She will definitely be going into the Career Elective classes!
7. For those of you who never did the Strengthfinders session/book, St. Hilary Parish will be offering a"Living Your Strengths" workshop during the Thursdays in October. Please let Jennifer know if you are interested in attending this workshop.
MAP Testing News:
2. You are allow to use two(2) of your computer class times to do MAP testing. Any other testing that you do will need to be done in your classroom. You may also work with your partner teachers to make arrangements to finish testing for the students in your grade level who still need to complete a test.
3. Our support personnel(tutors) are available to give your tests to the students who were absent or who are slow to finish. This is a much better option for them than the computer lab, which is not an ideal testing environment when a class is being taught. We also have 20 laptops in the tutor room that are available for MAP testing in addition to the Chromebook and iPad carts on the second floor.
4. Lisa and Elizabeth can give you any of the passwords or set up any of your tests upon your request so that you can complete the MAP testing for your students by Oct 6.
