Here in TK at Page, we are working on learning our letters and sounds. We get to do an activity for each of our letters that we learn. For example the letter A we made paper airplanes and then flew them in the classroom. We also jumped on a trampoline for the letter J. For the letter T we painted triangles with toothpicks. It is so much fun exploring and learning our letters and letter sounds.
Mrs. Beach - Page TK
Carlee Carpenter of BHS has attained the highest individual honor available to Iowa high school musicians by being selected as a member of the 2020 All-State Chorus. Carlee is the daughter of Jason and Annie Carpenter of Boone and is a vocal student of Kelly Earll.
The 2020 festival concert would have celebrated the 74th anniversary of this prestigious event. District auditions for the 268-piece All-State band, 211-pieces All-State orchestra, and 601-member All-State chorus were held virtually October 22-24, 2020. While the 2020 All-State Music Festival Concert has been cancelled due to health and safety concerns caused by the pandemic, that in no way diminishes the accomplishment of the young musicians designated as members of the 2020 All-State band, choir, or orchestra.
