Textile and Uniform Heritage Week
Special opportunity for girls and adults
MONDAY 8 JANUARY to SUNDAY 14 JANUARY, 9am-5pm, at Innabaanya
Are you passionate about textiles and/or history? Are you looking to a challenge for your Junior BP, BP or QG?
The Girl Guide Uniform Archives project is holding a series of workshops at Innabaanya.
Topics include: textiles and leather restoration and conservation; jewellery and badge cleaning and care.
All members and supporters are invited! Attend your chosen workshop or come every day.
Girls under 14 must be accompanied by a Leader or other responsible adult willing to attend for the same time as the girl.
This is a great opportunity to learn new skills from experts and/or to perform a service. Girls may complete parts of their JBP, BP or QG clauses, learn new skills or build service hours.
