Griffin Guide
March 20, 2022
Dear Highlands Families,
We are ready to welcome back scholars this week! We have done some great things with scholars so far! Check out some of our stats below:
- 2nd-5th grade scholars at grade level in math have doubled since the start of school!
- More than 50% of scholars have meet or exceed their growth targets in math, reading, and science
- Highlands has hosted 3 community events so far this year!
We need your help to continue the progress! Please encourage your scholar to be prepared daily and following campus expectations. I am excited about all the things we can do this school year!
We will continue to execute our mission of "Educate every child every day; whatever it takes!" We are Unleashing New Opportunities everyday because here at Highlands WE ARE UNO!
Sincerely,
Ms. Griffin

Counselor Corner
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your partnership during parent conferences! If you haven't had the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher be sure to reach out through one of the following: CHISD email, Skyward, Schoology, Class Dojo or Remind to schedule.
Parent-teacher conferences are essential to: share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, and assignments. It's also an opportunity for us to be better informed about students strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles.
Thank you for partnering with us! WE ARE UNO!
