Mrs. Beatty's 3rd grade class

Happy New Year!

Thank you!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the class gift for Mrs. Beatty. You all were very generous and with your contributions we were able to spoil both Mrs. Beatty and Mrs. Jones! Mrs. Jones had a basket that was filled with a beautiful monogrammed blanket scarf, candy, a $50 gift card to Coal Vines in Legacy, body butter and a Carriage House candle that smelled like heaven! Mrs. Beatty had the same items in her basket but we were able to add a special Dry Bar blow out and a few other goodies!

January & February Parent Volunteers needed

Mrs. Beatty will be needing parent readers for the classroom again after the holiday so I thought I would get a head start on our sign up so you have plenty of time to plan and add it to your calendar. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30-12:00 would be a huge help to our teacher. The parent readers will be pulling one student or small groups to help them with fluency and comprehension. Click on the link below to sign up starting after Thanksgiving break! Let's help develop some awesome readers!

Holiday Party

Thank you also to all the parents who helped make our party a success! I think the kids had fun and it was a great way to kick off the holidays! It was a great send off to Cole as well-he will definitely be missed! I also want to apologize about the fading of their sharpie plates! Using silvers and gold sharpies are the best way to make sure they don't fade but I know that definitely limited their creativity. Never fear-once they are baked you can clean the marker off and start over. Maybe even bake it for a little less time if they want to try again.
