Forest Grove Elementary School will be holding a Parent Information & Feedback Night on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose room.

The evening will be hosted by Forest Grove's School Site Council and all parents and guardians are invited to attend.

There will be presentations on the school's English Language Arts and Math programs as well as discussion about Campus Culture and facilities.

Perhaps the most valuable aspect of the evening is that parents will be able to provide feedback on any, or all, of the topics.

The School Site Council is an advisory group made up of teachers, parents, staff, and the principal. Each year, the group identifies school needs and writes goals to address those needs.

Please plan on attending this informative, important event.

The talk of the school right now is the Yo-Yo Assembly that was held on Wednesday, January 10.

Jim Turner from Around the World Yo-Yo Entertainment delivered a healthy message about the importance of a good education while thrilling our students and staff with yo-yo tricks and humorous anecdotes.

As a follow up to the assembly, the Parent Teacher Association will be selling yo-yo's before and after school starting tomorrow, Friday, January 12th. The PTA will be receiving a portion of the proceeds in return.

Yo-yo's range in price from $8-$16.

Yo-yo replacement strings ($3 for five) and belt holsters ($7) are also available.

Please consider supporting the PTA while purchasing a wholesome toy for you student.
