DEC 14TH- HOLIDAY MARKET: Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping in from

The North Pole to visit all of their favorite grizzlies and friends. Pictures and time slots will be pre-sale only and will become available to purchase this Sunday, November 10 @ 6 pm on The price is $15 for your digital keepsake.

NORTHBELT ELEMENTARY: We are excited to announce that Groves Elementary has adopted a sister school in our district. North Belt Elementary is a Title 1 school located at Beltway 8 and Mesa. The school does not have a PTO to assist with fundraising or taking care of their teachers so we have chosen to bless them this year. The staff of Groves Elementary will be adopting the staff of Northbelt. We will be decorating to their teacher's lounge with donated items and providing lunch for them. We are asking that students bring a new, unwrapped grade level appropriate book that we can gift to the students of North Belt, meaning Kinder bring Kinder appropriate, 1st grade bring 1st grade level, etc. For some of these students, this might be one of the only gifts they receive for Christmas this year. (If you'd like, your child can place a card/note/sticker in the book with something along the lines of "To my friend at North Belt".) Please help by sending a book with your child. We need all donations in by Dec. 4th. We will be making the delivery and feeding their staff on Dec. 9th. Your participation in this endeavor is greatly appreciated.

Each school year holds precious moments that you and your child will want to remember. The Groves Elementary yearbook allows you to cherish these moments for a lifetime in a beautiful hardcover keepsake.

For the first time, the 2019-2020 yearbook will contain all of the school year’s events, including carnival, Grizzly Game day and fifth grade events such as Manners Banquet. As with years past, the unique cover will be a student-designed masterpiece.

Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind memento! Take advantage of the presale going on now to buy your copy at a discounted price of $30.

To purchase your yearbook, go to and type in Groves Elementary Humble to select our school. Fifth grade parents can also purchase ads for their child to commemorate accomplishments and their final year of elementary school.

Presale ends December 31. Each yearbook purchase will include an autograph insert for students to collect memorable messages from students and staff.
