HOSA CPR Training Information
On your PD Sheet it says you can get 25 PD Points for being CPR Certified. My original plan was to offer a class at the FC to become CPR certified but with more investigation, I'm not able to set that up. So here are other options to earn these points:
- If you are currently CPR/First Aid Certified within the past year and you have the card to prove it, Mr. Lee or I will sign your PD Sheet.
- If you are not currently certified, but would like to become certified, here are some links to classes offered in the area that you can take. This is something you have to register for, pay for and attend on your own. Once you have your card, you can show it to us to receive your PD points.

- These are just two options that are in the area, any place that offers CPR/First Aid Certification is a viable option for you.
Remember, being CPR/First Aid Certified is not only good for your grade...but it also looks good on any application to job shadow in the medical field or to apply for jobs as you get older. Future employers view it as you are responsible and proactive - and might give you a leg up over other applicants.
Let me know if you have any questions.
