Yearbooks arrived last week! Virtual Academy yearbooks can be picked up anytime school is open! In-person yearbooks have already been distributed.

Please help us ensure that our staffing for the 2021-22 school year is accurate!

Please let us know if you learn that your student will not be able to return to Vandora Springs next school year as planned.

Please also continue to encourage your neighbors, family members, and friends to register their rising kindergarten or other new students as soon as possible.

Our staffing levels are based on our student count, and we want to do our best to place the right number of teachers at each grade level.

Thank you so much for your support!

2021 WCPSS Title I Family Survey

We invite you to share feedback on the experiences you and your child have had at our school by taking our short, online survey. The Title I office and the staff at Vandora Springs will use your input to help us improve and plan for the next school year.

The anonymous survey is available May 17 through June 11 at surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/title1.

You might have already received a printed copy of the survey sent home with your child. If you have completed that or the online survey, there is no need to do anything else.

For more information on the survey or questions, check with your child’s teacher.

Thank you.

Reminders for a Safe Return to Campus!

Students should not be in school if they are diagnosed with COVID-19, exposed to someone with COVID-19, instructed to quarantine, or if they are sick or experiencing any of these symptoms:

  • 100.4° fever or higher
  • Sore throat
  • New cough
  • New shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Diarrhea or vomiting
  • New severe headache

Review the requirements for returning to school after diagnosis, exposure, or illness.

Everyone MUST wear a mask, always. Parents: I encourage you to send your child to school with an extra mask or two in case a change is needed. Masks are required unless students are eating, drinking, or engaging in a uniform mask break under the direction of a teacher.

Please send your student with a labeled water bottle and their individual supplies. Students will not be able to drink from the water fountain and they will not be able to share school supplies. Please be sure to pack your child’s charged Chromebook and any other school supplies, art supplies, and instructional materials your teacher requests.
