Pandas of the Week

Congratulations to our Pandas of the Week. We have the BESt students in the world!

The Gaga Pit is Here!

The kids were so excited to have the Gaga Pit that PTO purchased for us installed and ready to use. Our PTO was able to provide this new addition to recess for our kids because of all of your support during our BoosterThon. Thank you parents and PTO for this great new activity for our kids to enjoy during recess.

A Peek Inside Our School

Morning Car Riders

Instruction begins right at 7:45. It is very important that you child is here and in class ready to learn before 7:45 so that they do not miss any instruction. Please help us to ensure the best instruction for your child by ensuring that your child is dropped up with plenty of time to get to class before 7:45.

5th Grade GT Testing

Students that have been notified that they are taking the GT test will be testing on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Please have them get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast and be present on on time for school.

Family Literacy Night

Thank you to all that were able to come out for our Family Literacy Night. I hope that you enjoyed it and picked up a few tips to help your child with literacy.

Literacy Week at BES

We had so much fun this week. Thank you for helping your students come up with ways to dress to match the themes.

House Pep Rally

The kids had a ball at our 3rd Quarter House Pep Rally.

We awarded our first ABCD Award this week to Ms. Kerry Anderson. She was nominated by both faculty and parents for this award. We appreciate all Ms. Anderson does to grow her kids and help to make BES the BESt!!

ABCD Award

We are starting a new award to recognize our staff that go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty in their service to our students, family and school. We would like to give our families a chance to nominate a staff member that you feel would be deserving of this award. We will give our first one this month. Tutor.com is available for families 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students will have access to highly-qualified tutors in over 200 subject areas. It's Been a Great Week at BES!!

Good Afternoon,


We had a wonderful Literacy Week at BES! Thank you to all that were able to attend our Family Literacy Night. We hope you enjoyed it.


Today, I ran the next round of Progress Reports. It should have come to your email if we have a correct email in Power School. Please keep in mind, the grades are the year to date grades for your child. To see their 3rd Quarter Grades, you will need to log in to Parent Portal. I hope you find this report helpful. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have questions.
